George H. Keith, 87, of Bucktooth Run, formerly of Front Street, Salamanca, passed away Sunday (February 23, 2025) at Buffalo General Hospital, after a lengthy illness.

He was born July 11, 1937 in Randolph on Corbett Hill, the son of the late George and Caroline (Rhodes) Keith.

George attended Randolph Central School and Jamestown Community College he was a Veteran of the United States Army. He worked at Blackstone Enterprises for 15 years and then he went on to work at Bush Industries in Little Valley, from where he retired. He worked after retirement or the Salamanca Youth Center as a custodian.

His interests included hunting, fishing and bowling, he also was a volunteer firefighter for the Kennedy Fire Department. One of his best times was scenic rides in the area of Corbet hill.

He is survived by an Ex-wife Carol (Rogers) Keith Sauers of Pa. Eight children, Kimberly Waite of Little Valley, Theresa Keith of Warren, PA., George Keith of Salamanca Catherine Keith of Irvine Pa, John Zeth, David Zeth, Lesia Pratt, and Laurie Zeth all of Randolph, many grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

George was preceded in death by his parents; George and Caroline, his wife, Ella May (Brown) Keith, Ex-wife Donna Marie (Brown) Keith Sample a son Thomas Zeth a Grand- daughter Madelyn Rose Himes His Siblings, Farland Keith, Clifford Keith, Richard Keith, Donald Keith, David Keith, Gwen Serna, Ila Meacham, Betty Meacham, Alma Meacham and Wilma Keith.

As per George’s wishes, there will be no visitation. A Celebration of life and Military Honors will be held at a later date and will be announced by the VanRensselaer & Son Funeral Home, 14 Church Street, Randolph.
