DUKE CENTER, PA – Eight Lady Terrors made their way into the scorebooks as O-E picked up their 13th win of the season, beating Austin 43-21.
Holding the Lady Tigers to single digits in the first half, O-E pulled away early with a barrage of shots inside and out.
Addie Bell led the Lady Terrors in scoring with nine points while Baylee Francis followed closely behind with eight, also recording six rebounds and two assists in the win. Carrie Drummond had seven points, five rebounds and three assists.

RANDOLPH, NY – Unable to stop Drew Hind’s barrage from beyond the arc, the Panthers fell to the Cardinals.
Chase Armstrong led the Panthers with 10 points, followed by Aidan DeFazio and Zack Green with six each. With the loss, Portville winds up on the back end of a season sweep by Randolph.

ST. MARYS, PA – On Monday, the Bradford girls and boys swim team competed in their final away meet, facing a double-dual meet against Punxsutawney and St. Marys. Despite dealing with a lack of swimmers – the Owls have just four boys and four girls – Bradford still impressed.
For the girls, the 200 Medley Relay team of Isabella Rhoades, Rylann Terwilliger, Addison Benson and Shyla Williams took second with a time of 2:17.44. Rhoades would go on to take first place in the 500 meter freestyle with a season-best time of 5:38.49 as well as first in the 100 meter breaststroke at 1:19.47, also a personal best. Terwilliger took second in the 200 individual medley with a time of 2:50.73 and third place in the 50 freestyle at 29.99. Benson and Williams also took third in multiple events, with Benson claiming bronze in the 200 freestyle – 2:32.38 – and the 100 meter backstroke – 1:23.35 – while Williams took third in the 100 freestyle at 1:12.46.
Sean Storer and Cooper Haight led the boys with two first place finishes. Storer took gold in the 100 meter butterfly at 0:58.3 and the 500 meter freestyle at 5:32.02. Haight earned firsts in the 200 individual medley at 2:42.27 and the 100 meter backstroke at 1:19.05, a personal best.
Matthew Galbraith took second in the 500 freestyle (6:30.89) while the 200 meter medley relay team of Galbraith, Haight, Storer and Joseph Cary took silver with a time of 2:05.60. The quartet took first place in the 200 freestyle medley at 1:50.1.
“Overall, it was a great night for the team,” said Bradford head coach Erika Close. “I am proud of this group of student athletes who continue to swim hard and improve, despite the challenges of this season.”
Having four meets left on their schedule, the Owls next travel to DuBois on Friday, Jan. 31 for a 6 p.m. contest.
