Richard E. Taylor, 71, of Salamanca, NY died Friday morning, January 17, 2025 at home following a long illness.
Born August 12, 1953 in Salamanca, he was the son of the late Elwood and Arlene Woodin Taylor. He was married October 14, 2006 in the former United Congregational Methodist Church to the former Rose Pleger, who predeceased him in 2016.
Richard had been employed as a Therapy Assistant with the Resource Center in Jamestown, NY.
He was a member of the Riverside Chapel and loved bowling.
Surviving are: a son, Thomas Taylor, Salamanca, NY; seven grandchildren; eight step- grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and two special friends, Frank Felt and Timothy Jenson.
He was predeceased by three brothers, Donald Taylor, Robert Taylor, Daniel Taylor, and a sister, Barbara Ferraro.
Per his wishes, there will be no memorial service.
Burial will be in Oil City, PA at the convenience of the family.
