Roundup: Francis, Splain carry Terrors to another blowout win

PORT ALLEGANY, PA – Combining for 55 points, Landon Francis and Manning Splain led the Otto-Eldred boys’ basketball team to their 12th win of the season, downing Port Allegany 64-39.

Francis would carry the torch first, hitting five 3-pointers for 16 of the Terrors’ 18 first-quarter points. He would hit two more triples in the second, as would Splain as O-E quickly expanded their lead. Through the final two quarters, Splain would take the reins, scoring 11 points in the third quarter and eight in the fourth, sealing the Terrors’ eighth North Tier League win of the season. 

Alongside the star tandem, Shene Thomas ended with six points and Davey Schenfield scored three points.
