Betty A. Cornell, age 83 of Olean, entered into eternal rest Sunday, November 24, 2024.
Betty was born on September 10, 1941, in Canton, OH to the late Vernon and Margaret (Moyer) Scoville. Betty grew up in Shinglehouse, PA, and graduated from Oswayo Valley High School. In 1960, she married Louis Antonioli, they were married for 36 years. She worked for over 36 years at American Olean Tile, Olean, as a primary support for her family.
Betty married Ron Cornell in 2011. The couple lived in Allegany, and enjoyed spending time in Florida during the winters.
Betty enjoyed spending time with friends and family, watching movies, traveling, and reading. She was always a ray of sunshine, treating everyone she met with kindness and friendship. Her sincere passion was doing for others, especially her family. She was truly a beautiful soul.
Betty is survived by her loving children, David (Pam) Antonioli of Olean, Cindy (Drew) Vics of Olean, Mike (Amy) Antonioli of Shinglehouse, PA, and Dan (Alicia) Antonioli of Shinglehouse, PA; sister-in-law, Maureen Scoville of Batavia. Betty will be missed by her grandchildren: Kyle Antonioli, Matthew Antonioli, Holly Troupe, Ryan (Misty) Antonioli, Kaitlyn (Andrew) Leviner, Tara (Chris) Bell, Joshua Antonioli, and Jason Antonioli; numerous great-grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews. Betty was also a loving grandmother figure to AnnMarie and Donnie Prentice.
Betty was predeceased by her parents, Vernon and Margaret; her husbands, Louis Antonioli, and Ron Cornell; and four siblings, Lewis Scoville, Sharie Fox, Mildred Hakes, and Phyllis Brasington.
Family and friends may gather to celebrate Betty’s life on Saturday, November 30, 2024, from 1-3 pm at Guenther Funeral Home, 1303 East State Street, Olean, with a funeral service to follow at 3 pm.
