The Cattaraugus County Board of Elections will offer nine days of early voting before Election Day starting Saturday, Oct. 26.
There are two early voting sites — at the Board of Elections office, 207 Rock City St., the former Little Valley Elementary School, and in the Magnano Room of the Cutco Building on the Jamestown Community College campus, 305 N. Barry St., Olean.
On Saturday the early voting sites will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Sunday, Oct. 27, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Monday, Oct. 28, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Tuesday, Oct. 29, noon to 8 p.m.
Wednesday, Oct. 30, noon to 8 p.m.
Thursday, Oct. 31, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Friday, Nov. 1, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Saturday, Nov. 2, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Sunday, Nov. 3, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Any registered voter who is absent from the county on Election Day, Nov. 5; unable to appear at the polls due to temporary or permanent illness or disability; is a primary care provider to someone who is ill or disabled or a resident of a Veterans Administration hospital may request an absentee ballot.
A registered voter can apply for an absentee ballot by calling the Board of Elections, by stopping at the office or online at https://www.cattco.gov/board-elections/absentee-ballot-registration.
In addition, any registered voter may request an early voting mail ballot — either online or in person at the Board of Elections. For more information contact the Board of Elections at (716) 938-2400.
