Mildred L. (Larson) Bentley, 95, of Elm Creek Road, Randolph, formerly of Zephyrhills, Fla., and the Randolph Manor, passed away Friday, (October 4, 2024) at the Absolut Care in Salamanca.

She was born December 22, 1928 in Jamestown to her Swedish immigrant Parents; Carl and Katie (Brandquist) Larson.

Mildred was a 1946 graduate of Jamestown High School, she retired from the Chrysler-Dodge dealership “Randolph Motors”, where she worked for her husband Lloyd at their dealership as the Book Keeper. Following the sale of the dealership, she and Lloyd bought an RV and did extensive traveling, crossing the US 4 times, and later they bought a home in Zephyrhills, where she also attended the Trinity Lutheran Church and participated in many activities.

Most recently she had resided at the Randolph Manor and she wanted the staff and specifically Lori Brown to know that she very much appreciated their love, care and compassion.

She is survived by two sons; Ryan (Lois) Bentley of SC and Dennis (Judy) Bentley of Randolph, two grandchildren; Todd and Hannah and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Carl and Katie, her husband, Lloyd K. Bentley, whom she married February 14, 1948 in the First Lutheran Chapel in Jamestown and four siblings; Donald and Walter Larson, Dorothy Murphy and Augusta Rose.

As per her wishes, there will be no services held. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of the Van Rensselaer & Son Funeral Home, 14 Church Street, Randolph, New York 14772
