Following a 7-week schedule, 6 games and a bye, the playoff picture is complete and the Playoffs are ready to begin this weekend in the CCMFL. The Pee Wee and Midget divisions are broken down into an “A” and “B” Bowl with the top 8 teams going to the “A” Bowls and the next 7 going to the “B”. Over the course of the next three weeks the CCMFL will crown champions in all 4 divisions culminating with the 4 “Super Bowls” on October 12th at Pioneer.
Both the Pee Wee and Midget “A” Bowls feature two undefeated teams vying for the Championship. Bolivar-Richburg (6-0) and Allegany (6-0) getting the number one and two seeds on the Midget side and Salamanca (6-0) and Pioneer (6-0) in the Pee Wee bracket.
The Midget action gets started on Saturday with two games being played in Ellicottville starting at 1PM and 3 PM in the “B” division and two more kicking off at 6 PM and 8 PM in Allegany and two more and 6 PM and 8 PM in Bolivar for the “A” Group. The Pee Wees follow on Sunday with 3 games starting at 11:30 AM, 1:30 Pm and 3:30 PM in Cuba in the “B” Group and four games in the “A” Division, two in Salamanca starting at 1:30 PM and 3:30 PM, and two more in Ellicottville at the same times.
