Olean- Sheryl L. Peck “Loving Companion, Mother & Grandmother”
Sheryl Peck of 211 W. Pine Street, passed away on Sunday, March 31, 2024 at the Olean General Hospital.
Sheryl was born December 17, 1955 in Olean and was the daughter of Gaylord Henry and Ruth Jeanette Gilb Sisson.
Sheryl was a 1973 graduate of Olean High School. She worked at AVX for a few years. Sheryl was also a bartender at Jo Jo’s for about 10 years until she became disabled due to an automobile accident.
Sheryl enjoyed bowling, being outdoors, sewing, cooking and NASCAR especially Kyle Larson. Most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and attending their sporting events.
Sheryl is survived by; her life long loving companion of 37 years, Norman E. Reed, Jr., of Olean; 2 children, Robert E. “Bobby” Peck of Allegany and Brandi S. Peck of Olean; 6 grandchildren, Quinten, Ethanyal, Joel, Amber, Star and Anastasia; 2 great grandsons, Eljah and Eastyn; 3 siblings, Gaylord Henry “Skip” Sisson, Daniel C. Hilliker and Kathy L. Fye all of Olean; several nieces and nephews including, William Morrison and Thomas Hilliker.
Sheryl was predeceased by her parents.
Friends will be received on Saturday April 6, 2024 at the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., 646 E. State St., from 10:00am to 12:00pm at which time words of remembrance will be spoken. Online condolences may be made at www.letromcintoshspinkfuneralhome.com
