Salamanca- Jessica Lila Woods-Potter “Loving & Devoted Mother, Daughter & Sister”
Jessica L. Potter of 179 Elm Street, passed away on Monday, April 8, 2024 at her home.
Jess Lila was born May 28, 1988 in Olean and was the daughter of Bruno E. Mowery and Wendy J. Woods.
Jess Lila was a 2007 graduate of Olean High School. She worked as a MedTech and Personal Care Aid for many years as she also worked at the Underwood Manor in Hinsdale for about 8 years. Jess Lila later worked as a dealer and supervisor at the Allegany Seneca Casino and a supervisor from 2015 to 2019.
Jess Lila enjoyed laughing, singing, helping others, selflessly and loved fiercely. She was the most caring and sweetest person, a truly kind and beautiful soul, always there to help even when the people she tried to help was the helpless. Jess Lila was always passionate and determined even when it destroyed her own mental health never put herself first it was always the people who didn’t deserve her time and energy. “Our struggles make us stronger to make us better people”. May she be one with herself and finally at peace.
Jess Lila is survived by; daughter, Mya J. Woods of Allegany; her father, Bruno E. Mowery of Hinsdale; her mother, Wendy (Gib) Lentz of Allegany; brother, Matt E. (Chelsea Sutterlin) Mowery of Allegany; step grandpa, Gilbert Lentz Sr.; 3 uncles, Jeff S. (Lori) Woods and David F. Woods both of Olean, Steve (Theresa) Mowery of Portville; nephew, Eric R. Mowery; 3 special aunts, Tammy Turner, Ann Langdon and Tessey Maynard and several cousins.
Jess Lila was predeceased by; sister, AirikaJo Rose Woods and grandmother, Lorelei Woods.
Friends will be received at the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., 646 E. State St., on Sunday, April 14, 2024 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm at which time a memorial service will be held. The Rev.
