Kenneth E. Howard, 85, of Hatchery Road, Randolph, passed away Wednesday (December 25, 2024) at home while under the care of Hospice and his family.
He was born August 18, 1939 in the Town of Conewango, NY at home, the son of the late Marion B. Howard and Charlotte Marie (Rice) Howard.
He was a 1957 graduate of Randolph Central School and was a Veteran of the United States Army, serving during the Vietnam War Era from August 16, 1963 to August 18, 1965. He retired from SKF-MRC in Falconer in 1998. He also served two terms as the Town of Conewango Town Supervisor.
Kenny was a longtime member of the Randolph American Legion Post 181 and was a member of the former Randolph Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge.
He enjoyed traveling with his late wife Nancy, stopping along the way, to play Games of Chance at numerous Casinos. He loved his family dearly and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He also enjoyed hunting and snowmobiling.
He is survived by a daughter Regina Conklin and husband Brad of Randolph, a son; Jeffrey Howard and wife Toni of Conewango Valley, a grandson; Douglas Conklin, a grand-daughter; Allison (Dennis) Evans all of Kennedy, and two great-grandchildren, Lauren Mills and Jarred Gilbert.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife; Nancy M. (Lincoln) Howard, whom he married on June 23, 1962 and who preceded him on November 24, 2019.
