HINSDALE — Thirty-seven Hinsdale Central School seniors graduated Friday night at commencement ceremonies in the school auditorium.
Senior Bradley Bergstrom gave the welcome, the invocation and led the Pledge of Allegiance. Lily Howell and Mark Lungershausen sang the alma mater.

In his address, Salutatorian Caden Miller said “an overwhelming majority of the stories (about the class) will be positive because we are all committed to making the school a better place.” The positive initiatives from good sportsmanship will translate very well into college, he added.
Valedictorian Alexandria Goodyear said she has decided to focus on the positive aspects of her life rather than dwell on the negatives. “Recently, I’ve come to grow into my game” and “Instead of focusing on the negatives, I want to shift to the positive.”
