ELLICOTTVILLE — Cattaraugus County Republican Party Chairman Mark Heberling has been selected as one of three delegates to the Republican Presidential Convention from the 23rtd Congressional District.
Heberling, of Farmersville, was selected May 31 as Republican leaders from across the congressional district met to elect delegates and alternates to the presidential convention in Milwaukee in July.
Dennis Vacco and Paul Stephen are the other delegates.
The 23rd Congressional District includes Allegany, Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Chemung, Schuyler, and Steuben counties and part of Erie County.
Attending the meeting were Allegany County Chairman Mike Healy, Heberling, representing Cattaraugus County; Chautauqua County Chairwoman Nacole Ellis, Steuben County Chairman Joe Sempolinski, Allegany County State Committee Member Lee James, and Cattaraugus County Committee Communications Director Mason Palude.
Heberling stated that it will be an honor to represent Republicans in the 23rd Congressional District at the RNC Convention.
The group was very enthusiastic about former President Trump “as the Republican candidate and future president of the United States,” Heberling said.
