Connecting Communities in Action hold public hearing to fill Board of Directors

SALAMANCA – The Board of Directors of Connecting Communities in Action is looking for residents of the community to join the Community Sector of the Board. The Community Sector must represent at least one-third of the Board of Directors and must be community residents who are, or who
represent, economically disadvantaged (low income) and reside in Cattaraugus
County.


A Public Meeting will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at the Community
Garden located at 25 Jefferson Street, Salamanca.


Interested persons should come to 25 Jefferson Street, Salamanca at 9:30 a.m. and be
prepared to provide a 2 – 3 minute presentation addressing the issues facing the low-income today and why they would be best suited to sit on the Board of Directors and
help address those issues. Interested parties’ names will be added to the ballot, and voting will
occur at the conclusion of all presentations. Any Cattaraugus County resident, age 18
years or older, and who is present at the Public Meeting, is eligible to vote.


Seating of those representatives will occur immediately thereafter at the Annual Board
Meeting on June 27, 2024.
