ST. BONAVENTURE, NY – With the season starting line just 19 days away, the St. Bonaventure men’s basketball team has released their Atlantic 10 schedule, a stretch that begins against the conference tournament champions.
Following 14 non-con games, the Bonnies will finally arrive back at the Reilly Center, ready to tackle the real meat of the season. First-year head coach Mike MacDonald will get his inaugural glimpse of the A-10 on Wednesday, Dec. 30 when they host Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU).
While the Bonnies kicked off their conference action against the Ram last season as well, this year they will be seeing the reigning A-10 Tournament champions twice, the first being on the penultimate day of 2026 before a road rematch on Tuesday, Feb. 23.
Like last year, St. Bonaventure will also see Fordham, George Mason and Duquesne at both home and away venues.
After a one-off against both Saint Louis (Saturday, Jan. 2) and Saint Joseph’s (Wednesday, Jan. 6), the Bonnies will travel to Fordham three days later before hosting them on Saturday, Feb. 13. Visiting George Mason on Wednesday, Jan. 13, St. Bonaventure will get a second shot against the Patriots on Wednesday, Feb. 3, while the double-date with Duquesne will go down on January 30 and February 27, both of which fall on Saturdays.
Against these familiar foes last season, the Bonnies (4-14 in A-10) ended 2-4, splitting the season series between the Rams and Spiders and being swept by the Patriots.
