PINE VALLEY, NY – Ten Warriors made their way into the scoring column as Salamanca obliterated the Panthers.
The Warriors got down to business early, with Ava Porter cracking off the first goal of the night just 20 seconds into the match. Thirty-one seconds later, Liana Jimerson followed in suit, scoring her second goal of the season.
As the first half wore on, the flood gates opened and Salamanca saw a flurry of goals added to their side of the scoreboard. After holding a 8-0 lead entering halftime, they tacked on three more to come away with their fourth win of the season.
Addison Earley ended with a team-high two goals and two assists during the win, while Stahlman, Iliana Hostuttler, Preslieigh Jimerson, Elizabeth Rozler, Harper Ellis, Ireland Fidurko and Lailee Pierce joined Porter and Liana Jimerson with goals. Arleigh Chudy also had two assists in the win while goal keeper Gwyn Emborsky saw two shots on goal and saved both.
Salamanca advances to play Randolph on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. at home.

DUBOIS, PA – Seeing their Class 3A rivals for the first time this season, the Lady Owls were unable to find the back of the net, falling to 4-3 on the season.
Jamestown 4, Olean 0
JAMESTOWN, NY – An early scoring barrage from the Red & Green put the Huskies’ fifth game out of reach early.
Jamestown hit the ground running in the CCAA Division I matchup, netting three goals in the first 40 minutes. Continuing to hold Olean at bay, they finished the night with one more goal in the second half.
With the loss, the Huskies fall to 2-3 on the season and 0-3 in league play. Going forward, their next matchup will be against Portville at home on Saturday. That game is slated for a 10 a.m. start.

JAMESTOWN, NY – A clutch goal in overtime salvaged the Panthers second win of the season, downing the Trojans in enemy territory.

ALLEGANY, NY – Scoring her seventh goal of the season early, Kennedy Honeck helped carry the Gators to their sixth win of the season.
The assist came from Kendall Lemon, her first of the season, while starting goaltender Kenna MacArthur saw and saved two shots on goal.
Stringing on a sixth straight win, A-L now stands at 4-0 in league play and will next see Fredonia on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. That game will be played on the road.
Volleyball
Austin 3, Port Allegany 2
AUSTIN, PA – A late rally from the Lady Tigers produced a North Tier League upset over Port.
The Lady Gators got off to their usual hot start, taking home 25-17 and 25-20 wins through the first two sets, however, then Austin sprung to life. Playing in front of their home crowd, the Lady Tigers tacked on three unanswered wins, besting Port 25-16, 25-22 and 15-12.
Molly Barber came away with 24 assists, Jaidyn Mahon tallied 14 kills and Addisen Taylor ended with 18 digs.
Bradford 3, St. Marys 0
BRADFORD, PA – Haley Keane and Aliya Corignani combined for nine blocks as the Lady Owls defended their home court over the Dutch.
Keane recorded 11 kills while Corignani found four kills and seven assists in the win.
Otto-Eldred 3, Smethport 0
DUKE CENTER, PA – Leading with iron clad defense, Rayel Hakes carried the Lady Terrors to another sweeping win in the Terror Dome, beating Smethport 25-11, 25-8 and 25-18.
Hakes ended with eight blocks and 11 kills in O-E’s sixth straight win of the season, followed by Ayla Van Scoter with four kills and Remy McDivitt with two. Emma Button ended with 22 assists.
Portville 3, Dunkirk 0
DUNKIRK, NY – Taking on their third league opponent of the year, the Panthers came home with another win, sweeping the Marauders 25-15, 25-7 and 25-18.
Gaitley Maiolo ended with a team-high 21 kills alongside her six digs and two assists, followed by Ana Haynes with 16 digs and four assists. Marissa Carls ran the offense with 27 assists, also contributing seven aces and four kills.
Salamanca 3, Randolph 2
RANDOLPH, NY – Responding to a five-set loss two days prior, the Warriors found themselves in a similar situation. However, this time they emerged with the win, tacking on their second win of the season.
Having no time to rest on their laurels, Salamanca returns to the court just one day later, traveling to play Dunkirk on Friday at 6:30 p.m.

Coudersport 3, Port United 1
PORT ALLEGANY, PA – Ben Gutshall scored the Gators’ lone goal in their loss to the Falcons.
Port will next head to Punxsutawney to see the Chucks on Saturday at 12:30 p.m.
Girl’s Tennis
Salamanca 5, Cassadaga Valley 0
SALAMANCA, NY – Hosting the Cougars, the Warriors picked up their fourth win of the season via sweep.
Betsy Leyva (6-1, 6-2) and Sage Huff (6-3, 6-1) picked up big wins in the first and second singles, while Keira Bova and Mimi McComber (6-0, 6-4) won in the first doubles, Fiona McKune and Morgan Palmer (6-3, 6-4) won in the second doubles.
