Alexander M. Davis of Main Street passed away on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at Olean General Hospital from complications from a logging accident in September 2024.

Alex was born on April 24, 1994, in Olean and was the son of Michael Davis and Bridget Wolf.

Alex was only 32 years old, but he lived life to the fullest. He was a logger who loved the outdoors, and he spent his days surrounded by the beauty of nature. Alex was silly, hard-working, wild, curious, and outgoing. He had a spectacular mind—always open and eager to learn. He loved his family, friends, and especially fishing, which brought him so much joy.

Alex is survived by his parents, Bridget R. Wolf Mitchell and Michael B. Davis, a daughter, Suzanne Davis, his sisters, Amanda Reynolds, Kylie Caldwell, Kasie Davis, brothers, Kruz Davis, Blake Mitchell, Peyton Mitchell, his paternal grandparents, Bradley (Judy) Davis and Carol (Chuck) Jordan, 3 Nieces and 8 nephews and his beloved dog Abigail.

Alex was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Stephen “skip” Wolf and Suzanne Wolf.

Friends will be received at the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., 646 E. State St., Olean on Thursday, July 2, 2026, from 1:00pm to 3:00pm at which time a funeral service will be held.
