Lady Gators lead the pack for annual Big 30 Senior Classic

PORTVILLE, PA – In the tenth rendition of the Big 30 Senior Classic All-Star game, 17 schools will have athletes take the floor to represent their programs, with Port Allegany boasting the most at three.

Head coach Jamie Evens will be holding down the sidelines for the Pennsylvania girls. In his eighth and final year coaching Port Allegany, Evens’ team finished with a 15-6 regular season record and a trip to the District 9 Class 2A semifinals.

Salamanca’s Joe Hinman will be coaching the New York girl’s team. This season, the Warriors ended their campaign with a 17-6 overall record, reaching the Section VI Class B semifinals. 

Portville is set to host the tenth annual Big 30 Senior Classic. The girl’s game is slated for a 2 p.m. start on Sunday with the boy’s game to follow immediately after.
