The Chautauqua Cattaraugus Athletic Association (CCAA) Div. III has announced its boys basketball all-stars for the 2025-26 season and Portville’s Aiden DeFazio and Peyton Carter both earned nods.
DeFazio was named to the CCAA Div. III first-team All-Stars. He led the Panthers this season to its first home playoff win in a number of years, racking up 384 points in the process.
Other first-team all-stars included Randolph’s Broden Brooks, Serai Johnson and Kevin McElwain, and Gowanda’s Seth Geiger and Trelin Warrior — the latter of whom was named league Player of the Year.
Carter was named to the second-team All-Stars after having scored 213 points this season.
Other second-teamers include Frewsburg’s Isaac Hultberg and Trent Lewis, Silver Creek’s Alan Hoelzle and Cassadaga Valley’s Mason Debo.
Frewsburg earned the Team Sportsmanship Award.
