Brian Andrew Slade, 48, of Arvada, Colorado, passed away on Wednesday,

January 28, 2026 in Douglas County, Colorado of natural causes.

He was born December 27, 1977 in Jamestown, New York, the son of the late

Teddy E. “Ted” Slade and Jeanne L. (Baker) Slade of Steamburg.

Brian was a 1996 graduate of Randolph Central School, played on championship football teams, played baseball and also attended BOCES in Ellicottville for Auto Mechanic.

He was employed as a mechanic for Lexus in Denver and was a graduate of the Denver Diesel Mechanical School. He enjoyed being outdoors and was an avid hunter, fisherman, snowmobiling, camping and most importantly spending time with his family and friends. He loved his dogs Chopper and Butch.

He is survived by his mother, Jeanne L. (Baker) Slade of Steamburg, NY, his companion, Corinne Allen-Ziser of Franktown, CO, two brothers, Aaron (Vanesa Bradigan) Slade of Conewango Valley and Chad (Brigit)Slade of Steamburg,

five nephews; Christian Giambrone, Payton Slade, Xander Slade, Camryn Slade and Maddox Slade.

He was preceded in death by his father, Teddy E. “Ted” Slade on September 15, 2021, maternal grandparents; Marshall and Margaret (Risley) Baker and Paternal grandparents; Laverne and N. Ernestine (Crandall) Slade.

The family will receive relatives and friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Saturday (February 7, 2026) from the VanRensselaer & Son Funeral Home, 14 Church Street, Randolph, services will follow at 1:00 PM with the Rev. Jonathan Douglas, pastor of the Randolph First Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in the Steamburg Cemetery at a later time. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date and will be announced.
