DUKE CENTER, PA – Behind Baylee Francis’ five 3-pointers and 23 points, the Otto-Eldred girl’s basketball team added yet another North Tier League win to their resume, dominating Austin 56-39.
Francis and Co. found their touch early and often, with Francis knocking down a pair of triples in the first quarter while Ayla Van Scoter hit three. Both continued to light up the court through the next three quarters, scorching the Lady Panthers with an undeniable offensive attack.
Alongside Francis, Van Scoter was one of three Lady Terrors to reach double-digit points. She came away with 14, also contributing three rebounds, three assists and two steals, while Rayel Hakes recorded 12 points and six rebounds. Kayla Edminster finished with five points and a team-high nine rebounds, while Jahden Smith dished out five assists to go with her three rebounds.

GALETON, PA – Beating the Lady Tigers by 32, Port tallied their seventh NTL win of the season, improving to 9-5 overall.
Jenna Renner led the Lady Gators, scoring a game-high 17 points and eight rebounds. Brynn Evens also reached double-digit scoring with 11 points, also grabbing six rebounds, dishing out four assists and plucking away four steals.

Smethport 50, Coudersport 41
SMETHPORT, PA – Combining for 38 points, Madey McKean and Payton Neff led the Lady Hubbers to league win over the Lady Falcons.
McKean led the way early for Smethport, scoring six of their 10 first-quarter points and eight of their 16 points in the second. While she had nine in the third, Neff began taking over in the second half, especially from long range. Knocking down one triple in the first half, Neff continued to find the shooter touch with three more in the third and fourth quarter, helping to carry the Lady Hubbers to a win in front of their home crowd.
McKean finished with 23 points, nine rebounds, five steals and three assists while Neff, who hit four triples, tallied 15 points, four assists and two steals.

FALCONER, NY – Taking to the road on Wednesday night for a CCAA D1 matchup, the Huskies fell to 2-2 on the season as they were outmatched by the Golden Falcons.
Olean picked up wins behind Camren Driscoll (118), Jack Aderman (126) and Ryker Quattrone (285).
The Huskies stay on the road for their next matchup, a Friday night faceoff against Portville. That match is slated for a 6 p.m. start.
Fredonia 48, Salamanca 33
FREDONIA, NY — On Jan. 14, Salamanca boys wrestling team fell on the road to Fredonia.
Kyle Oakes, Thomas George, Jack Merrill, Merle Watt and Kasen Hardy each picked up wins via pin for the Warriors while Conner Seeley won by an 11-1 major decision.
For Seeley, it was his 60th career win while George and Hardy each surpassed the 50-win mark for their careers.
The Salamanca girls wrestling team came out without a win over the Hillbillies.
