Allegany- Howard E. Wesley “Loving Husband, Father & Grandfather”

 Howard E. Wesley of Upper Birch Run Road passed away on Saturday, April 5, 2024, at Olean General Hospital following an illness. 

 Howard was born on September 3, 1957, in Olean and was the son of Joseph R. and Anita Wenzel Wesley Sr. On May 20, 1978, he married Lorrie J. Papasergi at St. Bonaventure Church in Allegany, who survives. 

 Howard was a 1976 graduate from Allegany Central School. He worked in construction for his entire career. He enjoyed woodworking and playing horseshoes, but most of all he loved his family, especially spending time with his grandchildren. 

 Beside his loving wife Lorrie, Howard is survived by his mother, Anita Wesley, his son, Nick Wesley of Allegany and his daughter, Brianna N. (Daryl) Brink of Frewsburg, two granddaughters; Mattie and Olive Brink, four siblings; Tina Lipowski of Buffalo, Patsy (Chris Maine) Wesley of Allegany, Joseph Wesley of Victor, and Peter Wesley of Olean, several nieces and nephews, three sister in laws; Teresa Margeson, Joan Conkey, Tricia (Toby) Lindberg all of Allegany, and his beloved dog, Ozzy. 

 Howard was predeceased by his father, Joseph R. Wesley Sr., his in-laws Guy and Vivian Papasergi, and two brother in laws; David Margeson and George Conkey. 

Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., 646 E. State St., Olean. Online condolences may be made at www.letromcintoshspinkfuneralhome.com
