BROOKVILLE, PA – Facing the third-seeded Lady Rovers, Port United’s postseason push ended in the District 9 Class A quarterfinals as they fell 3-1 to Brookville.
The Lady Gators arrived in the playoffs by the skin of their teeth. After drawing a tie with the then-15-0 Elk County Catholic Lady Crusaders, Port narrowly satisfied the 0.500 playoff rule, earning a road trip to Brookville. Once there, however, they were outgunned and ultimately eliminated.
The Lady Rovers’ goals came from Hannah Greer, who scored twice and Ally Wilson. Meanwhile, Port’s lone postseason goal was punched in by Kylee Pelchy, with the assist coming from Kailey Bartlett. In goal, Hannah Taylor had 14 saves during her final game as a Lady Gator.

Iroquois 10, Olean 0
ELMA, NY – Seeing a wave of offense crash down upon them early, the Huskies’ season came to a close with a blowout loss in the first round of the Section VI Class A playoffs.
Iroquois got to work early, quickly plotting paths to the net and scoring four goals in the first 10 minutes of action. From there, the Red Hawks kept their foot on the gas, tallying one more goal in the first half and five more in the second.

BUFFALO, NY – Taking the trip North for their first taste of playoff action, the Warriors were handily dispatched by the Lions in the first round of the Section VI Class B bracket.
