SWNY-NWPA Men’s Am Golf Tournament donates $20,000 to Local Foundations & Scholarships.

OLEAN — On Oct. 14, the 89th annual Southwestern New York-Northwestern Pennsylvania (SWNY-NWPA) Men’s Amateur Golf Tournament donated $20,000 to its four primary beneficiaries.

Receiving the donations were HomeCare & Hospice Foundation, The Intandem Foundation, Brady’s Cause (Supporting animal welfare in Cattaraugus County) through the Cattaraugus Region Community Foundation, and the newly added Olean General Hospital Foundation.

The Intandem and Homecare Foundations each received $6,000 of the $20,000. Brady’s Cause received $3,000 and the Olean General Hospital Foundation received $2,000. Two scholarships were also given out to two local seniors in August for $1,500 each.

Over the past 26 years, the tournament has given over $470,000 in donations.
