WARREN, PA – Despite sparking a comeback in the first half, an injury and subsequent second-half surge from Warren would hand the Bradford boy’s soccer team a 8-3 loss.

Traveling to hostile territory, the Owls would see their opponents quickly amass a 3-0 lead. However, by the end of the first 40 minutes of play, Bradford had clapped back, tallying two goals and trimming the lead down to one. Soon after the intermission, they would knot the game at 3-3.

Unfortunately for Bradford, their starting goal keeper, Aidan Abbott, would suffer an injury that would sideline him for the remainder of the game. Losing a key piece to their defense, the Owls would crumble from there, allowing five unanswered goals.

Landon Lohrman ended with two goals and one assist for Bradford while Cole Blatchley had one goal and two assists. Abbott ended with seven saves while his replacement, Liam Wyant, recorded seven as well.

Portville 9, Salamanca 1

PORTVILLE, NY – Eight Panthers found the back of the net as Portville dominated the Warriors for their eleventh win of the season.

Conner Roulo and Patrick Perkins cracked open the action for the Panthers early, both netting goals in the eight minute. Salamanca’s lone goal of the game came from Calum Farnum in the 78th minute, assisted by Darren Hayes.

Colin German led the Panthers with two goals and two assists while Riley Horsley ended with one goal and one assist. Roulo, Perkins, Neeson, Nick Edwards and Carson Friends all scored during the win.
