Cattaraugus, NY – Dale R. Reed ,63, of Cattaraugus, NY passed away Sunday August 10, 2025 at his home. He was born June 9, 1962 in Salamanca, NY son of the late Edward and Dorothy (Livak) Reed. On April 3, 2001 he married the former Kimberly Higgins, who survives.
Mr. Reed was an Electronics Technician starting at Eastman-Kodak and then for many years at ACME Business Machines in Olean, NY and then with UBEO of Falconer. He was a member of and Past Commander of the Sons of the American Legion Post #531 in Little Valley, NY. He was an avid Harley Davidson rider and a member of the Legion Riders.
Besides his loving wife he is survived by a daughter, Traci (Brian) Wind of Little Valley, NY and 2 grandchildren; Reece and Rylan. Also surviving are 4 brothers; Wayne (Charlotte) Reed, Michael “J.R.” (Bonnie) Reed, Donald (Laurie) Reed all of Little Valley, NY and David (Pam) Reed of Cattaraugus, NY, and 3 sister in laws; Pamela Hughes, Kathyrn (George) Riley and Carla Adkins all of Ohio and several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
