Gators send six to Corporate Cup boys’ Gold, Silver games; Bradford sends two

BRADFORD, PA – Having just over a week until the ninth annual NY/PA Corporate Cup Soccer Showcase, it’s time to meet the teams and find out who to watch out for. 

As far as local talent goes, Port Allegany leads the pack, being one of four teams to send multiple representatives to the all-star game. Although they don’t have the numbers such as St. Marys and DuBois, both of which hold six roster spots, respectively, the Gators will see one of their own as a team captain for the Pennsylvania Gold Team. On the Silver Team, which kicks off the action on Sunday, July 27, Port has another three of their own taking to the pitch. Bradford, on the other hand, will send one player to both the Gold and Silver teams as they look to show out for their home town fans. 

The Silver match is set for a noon start time at the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford’s newly renovated field, while the Gold game will take place at 5 p.m.

GOLD TEAM

PORT ALLEGANY

#9 Justin Dunn — Senior — Port Allegany

– During his final season with the Gators, Dunn led his team in assists with 16 as Port compiled a 16-3 record during the 2024 season. He also registered 26 goals on the year, the second-best on the team. 

#21 Jarrod Funk — Junior — Port Allegany

– Starting all 18 games he played, Funk finished the season with eight goals and 10 assists. 

#47 Austin Hamilton — Senior — Port Allegany*

– Taking to the helm of the Gators as a team captain during his senior season, Hamilton recorded 12 goals and 13 assists for Port this past fall. Shooting 40 percent from the pitch, he ended as one of the top three best snipers for the Gators among players taking significant attempts.

#3 Landon Lohrman — Junior — Bradford

– Leading the Owls from the midfield, Lohrman scored seven goals while tallying seven assists as a captain for Bradford. 

ST. MARYS

#4 Angelo Catalone — Senior — St. Marys*

#7 Alex Schott — Junior — Port Allegany

– Playing all 19 games for the Gators, Schott led Port in goals with 28 during his junior campaign, ending with a team-high 40.6 shooting percentage. He also added 15 assists to his resume, finishing the season with 71 points.

#20 Micah Emerick — Junior — Port Allegany

– Emerick only got off four shots during the 2024 season, however, all but one of them would end in the back of the net. Emerick had one assist as well.

#22 Owen Kisler — Junior — Port Allegany

– Kisler finished with six goals and eight assists for Port. 

BRADFORD

#11 Lucas Hinchman — Sophomore — Bradford

– During his freshman campaign, Hinchman played the wing for the Owls, collecting his first goal and first assist of his career at Bradford.
