February 13, 1997 – June 28, 2025
Robert Michael Dubuc, 28, of Macon, Ga, formerly of East Randolph and Norristown, PA., passed away unexpectedly Saturday, June 28, 2025 in the Grand Strand Regional Medical Center in Myrtle Beach of natural causes from a childhood clotting disorder.
He was born February 13, 1997 in Jamestown, the son of Kathryn “KC” (Southwick) Nomes and Michael Scott Dubuc.
Robert was a 2015 graduate of Randolph Central School and BOCES (Cattaraugus-EVL) where he was an Auto Mechanic trainee. While at RCS, he played Football until his clotting disorder preventing him from doing so. He was also a graduate of Universal Technical Institute in Exton, Pa.
He was currently employed by Fed-Ex in Macon Georgia, and had previously worked at WAWA Service station in Norristown, Pa. He enjoyed online gaming and was a Toons gaming club member, he would travel to gaming conventions around the country. He loved cats, cooking, baking and was a car enthusiast. He loved spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his parents, Kathryn “KC” and Troy Nomes of Celoron, Michael Dubuc of New York, Maternal grandparents; Rick and Christine Southwick, paternal grandparents, Shelly Dubuc and Michael (Joanie) Cooper, six siblings; Kelly Dubuc of East Randolph, Brandon (Kaitlyn) Nomes of Fredonia, Bryan (Eden) Nomes and their son Lucas of Oceanside, CA., Jessica Nomes of Enfield, CT. and Brittany (Christian) Nomes-Sanchez of New Jersey and Damien Hall, and two aunt’s; Jennifer Davis and Tyfeny Southwick.
He was preceded in death by a cousin, Megan Davis
The family will receive family and friends on Thursday, July 3, 2025
Hours 4:00 – 6:00 PM in the VanRensselaer & Son Funeral Home, 14 Church Street, Randolph. A service will follow Visitation at 6:00 PM, with Pastor Jonathan Douglas, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Randolph officiating. Burial Inurnment will be in the East Randolph Cemetery.
