Marguerite F. “Marge” Walters, 79 of Ireland Road, Randolph, passed away, Friday, June 27, 2025 in the home of her son and daughter in law, Jesse & Jessica Crawford in Youngsville, Pa.
She was born February 21, 1946 in Buffalo, the daughter of the late Carl and Laura (Hendrickson) Stephens. She attended Randolph Central School.
Marge worked for Parkview Supermarket in Salamanca in the Deli Department and earlier on for Cherry Creek Woodcrafters in Cherry Creek, NY. She enjoyed spending time with her family, her love of animals, especially her dogs, Roo and Corky. She also liked crocheting, play games and going gaming, listening to music and her love of classic cars.
She is survived by five sons; Michael (Vanita) Walters and Robert (the late Tammy) Walters, of Randolph, Rodney (Belinda) Walters of Russell, Pa., Todd (Sonya) Walters of Fredonia and Jesse (Jessica) Crawford of Youngsville, Pa., 20 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
She is additionally survived by a sister; Cathy (Paul) Williams of Ellington and a daughter-in-law, Sharon Walters and lifelong friends, Betty Rockwell and the late Kathy Kent.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Michael Walters, two sons, Clarence Whitacre and Ricky Walters, siblings, Myrtle Stephens and Clara Milliman.
The family will receive family and friends 4 to 5 p.m. Tuesday, July 1, 2025 in the
VanRensselaer & Son Funeral Home, 14 Church Street, Randolph. A short service will follow at 5:00 PM, with her grandson Michael Walters Jr. officiating. Burial Inurnment will
be in the East Randolph Cemetery.
