OLEAN, NY – Scoring four runs in the top of the seventh, the Hangry Pitches completed their comeback over the Union Whiskey, tacking on another win to their slow-pitch softball league season with a 11-10 win.
Mary Ann Colestro was perfect in the batter’s box for the Pitches, going 4-for-for whileBritta Rajski ended with three hits and recorded a double in her five trips to the plate. Jenna Hicks, Lix Rix and Dani Newman all nabbed a pair of hits each. For Union, Emith Horth, Jenna Hadley and Grace Wood all ended 2-for-4 in the loss.
Parkwood 17, Shamrock 5
OLEAN, NY – Lo Melfi went 4-for-4, driving in four RBIs to lead Parkwood to a dominating win on Thursday.
Jen Olson crushed a home run and a double, totaling six runs batted in while Kayla Goodreau finished 3-for-4 with an RBI during the win. For Shamrock, Kelly Lyons and Steph Falandys both finished 2-for-2.
Randy’s Up the River 16, 716 Fitness 4
OLEAN, NY – Nicole Calbi, Alex Calbi and Bryn Milne all had four hits as Randy’s sealed their win with 10 runs in the final two frames.
Alongside the trio, Spryce York had three hits while Alyssa Ramarge, Jaleesa Ard-Sledge and Kayla Welty had two hits a piece.
For 716 Fitness, Lacey Arnold, Sara Livingston and Tiff Worthington all had two hits.
Shamrocks 21, Murdocks 4
OLEAN, NY — Jen Barnes led Shamrocks in their 21-4 win over Murdocks, going 5-for-5 with six RBI.
Natasha Beil and Meghan Button went 4-for-5 and Tricia Reynolds went 3-for-4 in the win as well.
For Murdocks, Kay Slater went 2-for-3 while Amy Slater, Vicky Kenyon all went 2-for-2.
716 Fitness 12, Misfits 3
OLEAN, NY — In their lopsided win over Misfits, 716 Fitness was led by Robyn Berlin-Hillard, who had a perfect 4-for-4 day.
Lacey Arnold, Elizabeth Owen and Ashley Erskine each went 3-for-4 in the win as well.
For Misfits, Sunny John and Linsey Germaine went 3-for-3.
Pink Ladies – 3rd Base 13, Mickeys 1
OLEAN, NY — With 11 first-inning runs, the Pink Ladies, spurred on by Grace Walker (4-for-4) and Elyse Graham (4-for-4), were in control from the start.
Bella Morales went 2-for-3 in the win as well.
Sarah Cole and Beth Mills went 2-for-2 in the loss for Mickey’s.
Randy’s Up the River 14, Union Whiskey 2
OLEAN, NY — Alyssa Ramarge went 4-for-4 with a home run and six RBI to power Randy’s past Union Whiskey.
Behind her, Nicole Calbi finished with three hits while Jalesa Ard-Sledge, Alex Calbi, Spruce York, Jessica Weinman, Shaina Griffin and Torri Hohnson recorded two hits apiece.
Faith Capito, Emily Horton and Kristin Sledge each had three hits in the loss.
Angee’s 4, Bamboo Strategy 2
OLEAN, NY — Kristiana O’Connell and Sophia Aiello’s 2-for-3 days at the plate gave Angee’s the edge over Bamboo Strategy.
Lindsay Loper went 2-for-2 in the win as well.
Amber Mohr and Shannon Detweiler finished 2-for-3 in the loss for Bamboo Strategy.
Misfits 16, Mickeys 3
OLEAN, NY — Misfits, not only completed their comeback, but ran away with the score in their big win over Mickey’s.
Candy Miller went 3-for-3 in the win while Megan Cooper, Kasey Wilder and Caryn Miller each finished 3-for-4.
For Mickey’s, Kate Maedl and Sara Cole went 3-for-3.
Smethport VFW 20, Murdocks 4
Smethport VFW 11, Pink Ladies 1
OLEAN, NY — In both games of their double-header, Smethport VFW pulled out big wins over Murdocks and the Pink Ladies, respectively.
Against Murdocks, Teagan Kosinski went 4-for-4 while Mia Welty, Kamryn Cook and Tierra Bodamer went 3-for-4.
In the victory over the Pink Ladies, Karly Welty went 3-for-3 with a grand slam.
Chrissy Martin went 2-for-2 for the Pink Ladies.
