ELDRED, PA – With both teams firing on all cylinders, each posting double-digit hits, the Otto-Eldred baseball team outgunned Smethport, winning 20-10 as they tally another league win to their record.
Shutting the Hubbers out in the first, O-E got to work with three runs in their first trip to the plate. Despite going scoreless in the second, the Terrors would consistently bring men around home for each of the remaining frames. Smethport narrowed the game to just one in the top of the sixth, however, O-E finished off the Hubbers with their best batting of the night, driving in a game-winning nine runs.
Both Wyatt Blendinger and Landon Francis drove in four RBIs during the win, with Blendinger finishing 2-for-4 and scoring once while Francis ended 3-for-5 with three runs. Sean Magee rounded home three times while Manning Splain, Hunter App, Jared Obenrader and Jaden Prince all scored twice.
