Theresa M. Pavlock, Loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother

Machias- Theresa M. Pavlock, passed away Saturday, April 12, 2025 at the Pines of Machias after a long illness.

Theresa was born in Olean on March 2, 1931, she was the daughter of Michael and Stella (Slevinski) Strucker. On May 3, 1952, in the Transfiguration Church, she married Paul J. Pavlock, who predeceased her on May 12, 2008.

Theresa was a passionate cook who cherished the art of preparing each meal. She was a lifetime member of the Pulaski Club and a founding member of the Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed bowling, going to the Casino and bingo. She especially loved spending time with her family and friends.

Theresa is survived by her children, Sandra Pavlock of Fredonia, Paul Jeffrey (Debi Shelton) Pavlock, and Larry (Laurie) Pavlock, both of Olean; four grandchildren, Amanda, Kimberly, Christopher and Ashley; nine great grandchildren, Riley, James Paul, Connor, Ann, Norah, Cate, Elaina, and Alexa; a brother Joseph (Theresa) Strucker; a sister Patricia Wiles; and a sister-in-law Jenny Strucker.

She was predeceased by her husband, Paul; her parents Michael and Stella; and a brother Michael Strucker; and a brother-in-law, Anthony Wiles.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 15, 2025 from 3 pm to 6 pm, at Guenther Funeral Home, Inc., 1303 E State St. Olean. Funeral services celebrating Theresa’s life will be held on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, beginning with a prayer service in the Funeral Home at 9:30 am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. John’s Church, 931 N. Union St, Olean, at 10 am. Burial will follow at St. Bonaventure Cemetery in Allegany. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Pulaski Club or St. John’s Church.
