Ronald Lee Hamilton, 59, of Brooksville, Florida, passed away on January 8, 2025. Born in Olean, New York, and raised in Hinsdale, Ron later made Florida his home.
Ron is survived by his loving wife, Donna Hamilton; four children, Kathleen Manuszak, Christopher Hamilton, Tracy Hamilton, and Timothy Hamilton; three step-children, Coty Dorsey, Alyssa DiLorenzo, and Nicole DiLorenzo; his brothers, Fremont (Pete) Hamilton, and James (Jim) Hamilton; and sister-in-law, Roberta (Bobby) Hamilton. Ron is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, grandchildren, and extended family members. Ron’s parents, Suzanne (Sue) Oakley and Willard (Bill) Hamilton, had gone before him.
A devoted family man and avid outdoorsman, Ron loved spending time with his family more than anything. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working on his Hodaka dirt bikes, which allowed him to connect with nature and relax after a long day. Ron was also a skilled handyman with a keen eye for anything mechanical, always willing to lend a helping hand and fix any problem his family brought to his attention.
Ron was a man of integrity, kindness, and love. He cherished every moment spent with his wife, children, and grandchildren, creating lifelong memories with them. His secret fishing spot was a special place where laughter and joy filled the hours spent there.
Ron’s strong work ethic and determination led him to achieve great things in his life, and his career in chemical plating took him from the shop floor to leadership roles, ultimately becoming an Operations Manager and providing a comfortable life for his family. After retiring, Ron dedicated himself to caring for his 15-acre property, where he adored and nurtured the many animals that live there.
Ron will be deeply missed by his family and friends. His infectious jokes, companionship, and unwavering love cannot be replaced. The loss of this extraordinary man has left an unfillable void in the hearts of those who loved him, and his passing is a profound loss to his family. Though he may be gone, his memory and legacy will live on through the lives he touched.
