HAMBURG — Powered by Avery Brown’s 25-point performance, the Salamanca boys basketball team was able to wrap up its regular season with a narrow 62-58 win over Double-A Frontier.
Brown, who has been a force in the paint for the Warriors all season, found himself a great deal of success down low once again, dropping in nine buckets from within the 3-point arc.
He received significant support from the likes of Jacob Herrick, who scored 18 points, and Maddox Isaac, who added 13 to the team’s tally as well.
However, for the second game in a row, Salamanca struggled to get significant points from other sources, leading to the slim margin of victory.
Matt Siener led Frontier with 18 points.
