GOWANDA, NY – Despite leading for the majority of the contest, the Portville boys’ basketball team failed to hold on in the fourth, losing their eleventh game of the season and second to Gowanda.
Fueled by a committee of scorers, the Panthers narrowly held an advantage on the scoreboard through the first three quarters. However, coming down the stretch, Gowanda’s Trelin Warrior erupted for 14 of their 22 points. Portville would keep pace, scoring 19 of their own, but couldn’t put themselves back in front.
Aidan DeFazio led the Panthers in scoring with 30, while Braeden Carter had 14 and Chase Armstrong had 12.

DUBOIS, PA – Despite battling through the first half, a third-quarter burst from the Beavers ended any chance for a Bradford comeback.
After entering the halftime break down six points, the Owls watched as DuBois outscored them 17-9, butting the Beavers out in front for good.
Talan Reese and Carter Roulo both ended in double-digit figures, with Reese scoring 17 and Roulo ending with 11.

DUBOIS, PA – Baylee Francis’ 22 points led the Lady Terrors to their eight consecutive win.
Alongside her game-high scoring, Francis ripped down five rebounds. Carrie Drummond and Addie Bell both also recorded five rebounds in the win, with Drummond contributing 10 points and Bell scoring nine. Rayel Hakes ended with eight points and seven rebounds.
